Married for 56 years and together for 66, their journey began in high school—riding bikes to school, sitting near each other in class, and sharing what they now call “puppy love.” Life took them in different directions for a time—George became an electrician and traveled the world, while Aldy pursued a career as a high school teacher. But fate had its own plans. At 24, George tracked down Aldy, invited her to a Highland Ball, and by the end of the night, they were engaged. And as they say—the rest is history!
